ELEAGUE, the premium esports tournament brand from Turner and IMG, will broadcast the thrilling conclusion to its first-ever ELEAGUE Street Fighter® V Invitational this FridayMay 26, with the Semifinals and Grand Final live on TBS at 10 p.m. ET. The tournament will begin at 5 p.m., with live event coverage across TwitchYouTube and live.eleague.com from the G Fuel ELEAGUE Arena in Atlanta.

Playoff Format & Storylines

The top eight players advancing from the regular season group stages will compete in a double elimination bracket for the Championship and the $150,000 first-place prize. In the first round of matches, Victor “Punk” Woodley will look to sustain his hot streak against the high-risk style of Eduardo “PR Balrog” Perez, while Japanese Street Fighter veteran Keita “Fuudo” Ai will challenge top M. Bison player Arman “Phenom” Hanjani. Yusuke Momochi will aim to continue his resurgence and bring glory to the Echo Fox name against the world-famous Daigo Umehara, and the headline-grabbing American player Joshua “Wolfkrone” Philpot will take on Zhoujun “Xiao Hai” Zeng. The winners of each match will face off against one another in subsequent rounds until a victor emerges.
